What I Do

Research & Behavioural Insight

GivEducation (2024–present)
I lead the development of AI-driven personas for the energy and education sectors — combining interviews, data, and behavioural theory to enhance market research and organisational decision-making.

Community Wellbeing & Mental Health

The Active Wellbeing Society
I supported individuals with complex emotional trauma (CET) by co-developing peer-led support programs, conducting impact research, and training staff in trauma-informed practice.

Policy & Sustainability

Newcastle-under-Lyme Council
I investigated behavioural drivers behind energy use in public facilities, using interviews and social norms theory to recommend sustainable, people-centred policy interventions.

Storytelling & Human Truths

SKY Films
I worked as a script consultant, ensuring mental health stories were grounded in psychological accuracy and emotional integrity.

Cross-Cultural Lens

Having studied and worked across the UK, Italy, and Turkey — and speaking six languages (Turkish, English, Italian, Catalan, Spanish, French) — I bring an intercultural mindset to every project. I thrive in diverse environments where listening, empathy, and nuance are key.

Research Highlights

MSc Dissertation: Political Lies and Their Impacts in Turkey — explored trust, emotional wellbeing, and civic engagement in a polarised political climate

BSc Dissertation: Cross-Cultural Cooperation in Public Good Games — studied how cultural values and trust influence prosocial behaviour

Conference Presentation: Co-authored research on fan perceptions of sustainability in football (EASM 2024)

A Human Approach

Beyond academia, I’m also a filmmaker and visual artist. My work has been exhibited internationally and shortlisted for the Venice Ca’ Foscari Short Film Festival. Whether through images or insights, I’m always seeking new ways to illuminate the human experience.

Why I Do This

Every person is an ocean. If you want to understand them — to serve them, support them, or make policy that works for them — you have to be willing to dive. I want to help people and organisations take that dive, and come back with clarity.
